I know it is now almost two seasons later, but I just came across these pictures of our first snow this past winter. Although it was not technically our first snow, since it snowed when the girls were in the hospital (We had a long, slow drive to visit that day!), it was the first one they truly got to experience. We bundled them in too-small snow suits so they could barely move, and put plastic bags on their feet so they kept slipping and falling down. Needless to say, we were not outside for long but long enough to get a few pics.

Lillian, the collector
I have a habit of trying to unload everything from the car at once. I usually carry in my school bag, the diaper bag, my purse, the girls, any empty cups or trash from the car, and any groceries I may have picked up on the way home.
I think that Lillian, has picked up this "try to see how much I can carry" mentality from me. We regularly catch her trying to put multiple things in one hand, and once that hand is full, she uses the other as well. One of her favorite things to "collect" and carry around are what Daddy calls "gumballs." They are the spiky ball shaped things that fall off the trees in our neighborhood park. (I have know idea what they are really called.)
Lillian will pick up at least 4 "gumballs" and go about her business walking, running, and climbing, but always stopping to pick up any gumballs she has dropped before proceeding. That's my girl!
